I was talking to Mark today, he did the ihunter app for iphone and he said he's working on the app for Android OS which is great news for me as I have an Android phone. This app is quite comprehensive and gives the straight regs as needed (ad free) and has mapping capabilities and other features such as filtering for the areas and species you are hunting. He's worked pretty hard at this and seems like a pretty good guy, I think we should all be supporting this app as he has some bigger ideas for it coming down the pipe. as soon as it is ready for android i will be the first to buy it... i have alot of freinds who will also buy it. or maybe i should just take the leap and buy an iphone $:-\$

I haven't looked at it that much yet but having the sunrise/sunset tables with you will sure be nice.

Sonny, looks like you basically have the regs in the palm of your hand. Most GPS devices will give you sunrise/set times. This is much more.....

The crackberry runs its own os an android phone is anything running the Android os like an HTC or a Samsung. I am not sure he's doing a blackberry version.

Just my luck,, oh well..

Momma got me an I-Pad for Christmas I will have to get it on there.. Won't be as handy as having it on the phone but still something fun to play with..

I'm pretty sure the app works on iPad. Actually the iPad is a great thing to have along hunting we used it a lot this year for the maps and GPS feature.

This app is a must have, I used it lots during hunting season. No more flipping through pages to find what you need. I highly recommend this.

Thanks a lot for the support guys. Paul is right that the Android version will be out later this winter (hopefully in the next month or two). The app is currently Alberta only, and it works on iPhone and iPad (although iPad support right now means just that it will work, but will still appear small like on iPhone). We will try getting a iPad specific version out before next season. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be supporting Blackberry anytime soon...

Hey guys, the Android version is now available. It works on Android devices with 2.3.4 (Gingerbread) and newer, and is available here:

As always, we are looking for feedback so send it my way if you have any. The update interface that is in the Android version will be coming to iOS within about a week as well...

i bought the iphone 5 and instantly downloaded this... its a great app... i do alot of walking during hunting season along alot of wmu borders... most times they are easily identifiable by a creek or a road but some arent... this works perfect and will be of great use... i also hate doing the math when it comes to sunrise sunset and this does it for you in the wmu your in.... its a hit ....
