may the fourth be with his arrow
« on: May 04, 2013, 11:06:43 PM »
Took the nine year old out for some local rodent population control today. His weapon of choice was the bow today and he still slayed quite a few. I am sure the gophers could see the arrow coming!! LOL. Anyway, one of the landowners had asked me to come back in the spring and shoot a few of the gophers so we did that today. What a great way to spend an afternoon with a family member.

Nice shootin

I need to get some land owner permission around here to shoot gophers. I use to have a bunch everyone that I know sold their farms and I haven't kept up with it at all.

Hey Npauls, I believe you are around Lethbridge, head south around magrath and spring Coulee and just about everybody will let you shoot some of these guys. I have some landowners that get me to shoot ones near their houses with the bow. They aren't comfortable with people shooting that many bullets near their homes.
