         Curious as to what missteps caused this.  While total speculation my guess the root will be another case of "efficiency" (i.e. money) first ask questions later.  My families income is provided by industry which I am thankful for, however more and more I wonder if it's not time to slow things down a bit, and not in the bureaucratic way of "feel good" paperwork with little actual thought and work involved.

What Shrubs said, I live by the oilpatch, like most of us I suppose, but to see shit like this makes me sick, that pond clearly wasn't properly engineered for the hydrostatic load.
