Was not there of course, but how does a tanker slam into a slow moving line of cars? The secondary highway that runs by my turn off is a race track for truckers. It is one of the windiest roads in the area, and trucks are at top speed on it. Many driveways and dirt roads off of it, but who care's, peddle to the metal boys.There's been a few deaths because of it. I might be getting older but it seems everyone is doing 200 mph, and they are 2 feet behind your back bumper, in a hurry to reach the finish line I guess. I'd rather enjoy the ride, the end will come soon enough.

Good football today. Eskimos handled the Bombers. I like their chances for the GC this year as long as they get past Calgary next weekend, that's going to be a tough one. Calgary had it on cruise control the last 2 weeks of the season but they will be a different team come next weekend. Hopefully Edmonton comes out hard and mean, hit em early and hit em hard is their only chance.

Why, when it comes to guns , Canada has to separate from
the ideas and actions of the USA . I have spent a lot of time
In the US over the years , hunting , wintering and have
always found Americans to be a gregarious, affable lot .
About 5 years ago we started wintering on the west coast
Of Canada but in that 5 years many of my friends have
had an on going dialogue about how Americans have changed .
One thing bad has happened to them , they have become
more like us. No longer just identified by being American but
more by their political persuasion. The rhetoric around the second
amendment is just down right scary ...
There is no doubt in my mind that something stupid will be attempted
in regards to guns by that mindless twit the east elected ...

Of this stuff. The idea that as a gun owner , I am inches away from
being a child killer seems totally preposterous.
The pro gun crowd here has to get a little more talkative and a little more
visible up here. You can not trust our politicians to make intelligeable
decisions on just about anything ! They got a hard handle on terrorism.
I guess they think it's tough to be terrorist when you are an instant
millionaire.

Busy busy busy. Seems have been running in 6 different directions the whole year. I'm taking Dec. off, well, except for a couple dozen things that have to be done.....

Even missed htg this year, never thought that would happen but it did....and I had mule buck too.

Remember Bruce the chicken's are still dancing until Jan 15 in a lot of area's, so hunting is still alive. Nice relaxing day with the old shotgun might be what you need.
