Apparently she has enough blood to earn a first class seat on the gravy train, and get to the front of the line at the trough. lol
It's amazing how diluted they can be and still qualify.  A guy on my crew at work is red haired, blue eyed, fair skinned....he looks whiter than I do (and I'm as white as they get lol), yet he's treaty card carrying, status indian.  It's ridiculous how they can be 1/8th, or even 1/16th, and they latch right on to that very important portion of their "heritage and culture", (and latch on to the government tit at the same time)  The fact that they're also 7/8, or 15/16 white doesn't seem to matter, and they certainly don't show the same level of "pride" in being mostly white.  Guess you can't blame them though......rant over.

I have an issue

5)   Fund People on Reserves Directly – Start pilot projects whereby funding to reserves goes directly to band members, with the band council taxing band members to pay for services. This would ensure more funds reach people in need, rather than getting caught in administration.

How about no funding. How about creating jobs on the reserve instead. It's the welfare state that has created the uselessness on the reserves. Set up factories to make license plates or envelopes, even if they break even, GET INDIANS WORKING!

I love how they say "rather than funds getting caught in administration." How politically correct because what they really should say is instead of funds being stolen or wasted, being caught in administration is such a nice way to put it.
