Weird Alberta weather

Well I was very disappointed to wake up this morning and see it snowing in Red Deer. June 4th and it's snowing, like we didn't have a long enough winter. I just think it's weird we have had 1 nice day all year it's really starting to get on my nerves I have been in Alberta most my and this is the worst spring we have had. I actually had to run the furnace this morning

Got the wood stove going here right now. No snow though. 5" last night up west of Grande Prairie, should drop the fire hazard a bit anyways

Well it had been nicer up north then down south from what I heard so far this spring (minus the fires of course) the same storm came through here yesterday it went from +23 to 0 in less then 12hrs. Looking at the forecast today it doesn't look like we are going to have a lot of hot weather for the next little while either.

We only had a trace of snow here in Hinton but I heard Edson got 4 inches.Bleh..I don't care,this afternoon we will still haul the camper out to Fickle lake for a few days..

Word on the street is that we're supposed to be getting another warmer than average summer?

Just got back today from a weekend at Fickle.The weather turned out to be nice but the fishing was terrible and not just for me..lol Saturday we caught one small pike and one small walleye.Sunday we only caught two small pike.No one was having any luck.Talked to one guy at the campground and he said fishing was bad because the lake was heavily netted recently but I don't know if thats the cause or not,anyway Fickle really was fickle last weekend..
