Headed South of the border to Kookanusa for camping and a bit of shopping in Kalispell. Should be a great weekend. Safe travels to everyone.

Some friends got the group site at Half moon lake, so we will probably end up there. Not sure about the fishing there but I think I'll bring the little aluminum boat and cast a few spoons and maybe find a pike or 2?

Headed up around Grande Cache to try to find some bears. May have better luck up there, haven't seen any out west of Rocky in 5 days.

Wife is going to Edmonton that weekend so I'm thinking of a road trip up to the Cariboo Region and doing some gold panning. Maybe up around William's Lake/ Likely area/ Quesnel Forks.

The Grand Trunk Inn in Vanderhoof (s/p) has some entertainment that you might enjoy...*snicker*

Hopefully attending the Bull River shoot near Cranbrook. These shoots are an awesome place to learn and hone one's skills. Great people to meet up with and enjoy some camping too.  :)

If you are headed to Kalispell be sure to save some room for supper at Famous Dave's!!

As for us we typically avoid camping on the May 2-4 weekend and get some work done around the house. No doubt I'll find time to get a hike or two in though.
