A Great Brookie Day!!!!!
« on: November 24, 2011, 09:06:29 PM »
Well got out today for an afternoon of fishing. Here are a few of what the four of us kept. Just bought this ice tent and love it. Tons of room for at least 4 adults to fish. Hope to get out lots this year and this was a good start. Largest we got was 3.3lbs.

The new shack!

Mom dropped the youngest off after school and he ended up catching his biggest trout.

The haul! Smallest were kept due to hook damage. Largest we got went home with another guy that left early.

Nice work Sheepguide.

How old is your young guy? My son is about to turn six, and this is the first year that he's getting the concept of fishing. Your son must have had a blast.

Cheers.

Nice brookies SG, I miss fishing for November brookies in the shallows. The spawning colors are wicked in 3-4 feet of water and the 2lbers look twice as big when your staring down the hole.
