Thanks, and walleyes, Id love to catch a few lakers. I did catch her in my favourite spot, going to see if her momma is around next weekend. Got into the sturgeon fishing this summer finally, and love it, the pike didnt get much of a workout from me after I got my first sturgeon, up to 52 inches now and counting! Ice where i was fishing was about 6 inches or so, top couple wasnt great, but there was about 4 of clear black ice on the bottom. got her on a 4 inch chub minnow, she was going for my herring on the bottom the first fish of the day ripped off my hook, but I teased her into taking the smaller bait.  ;D
