lake isle

From Hardwater Anglers page on facebook

Well guys i have been hearing alot of bad stories about lake isle and how it winterkilled last year. This has been my go to lake for the past 20 years because i grew up 5 minutes from its shores. Usually what has been at least a 5-10 pike per day lake never have i had such a hard time catching pike and perch here. I waited for the full moon so i (unprovenly) had my best chance at catching fish there but no luck.

We spent the whole day out there and mustve drilled and camera'd 100 holes. Within the group we had as many as 10 lines in the water at one time and never caught a single fish. I know this lake very well and have accumulated a few honey holes over the yeasr but they just didnt produce for me.

We did happen to have a couple schools of perch swim by but no size and no bite from them at all.

I havent given up on it yet and will try one more time b4 the season is out but from what i see this lake is really hurting this year.

Im thinking it should be a zero limit lake for at least  5 years until the population is back on the incline.

The lake had a bad winter kill last winter. There is usually something survives because there is no winter kill that is 100 %. I am glad to see you made an effort to at least check out the lake to see how it is recovering. The river that flows into Isle Lake should bring some fish in.
  Cheers :)

"The river that flows into Isle Lake should bring some fish in."

Fish would have to grow legs in order to travel the Sturgeon river to that lake lately.
Too much poop in that lake now.
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?
