Stiff Perch - Fishing the Frosty Bite
« on: February 26, 2014, 03:12:42 PM »

This was the first ice fishing season I used Slender Spoons to catch jumbo perch.  Wish I would have given them a try earlier.  Caught many perch and walleye on this lure during this ice fishing season so far.  What a great addition to your winter tackle box.

Can't wait to get back on the ice... will be back in March to do some fishing damage.  Maybe get lucky and finally catch a 20lb + pike.

I have never had good luck with meal worms. Perch are good at stealing that bait.
Have you ever tried minnow heads Brandon ? They are good for hiding the hook.

Yeah I use minnow head, tails and mid sections.  Like the head and tail the best though.  Meal worms work great.
