.264 Winchester Mag - load info
« on: May 11, 2011, 07:50:59 AM »
I am having a .264 built, and am looking for some loading data.

I Have some (dated) data for the older components, but wonder if anyone has some pet loads using the newer components.

I am leaning towards a Barnes 120 TTSX if the rifle will shoot them.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks for the info Dick.

Any ideas on what might be a good lightweight stock option? It is a Dumoulin mauser action....

I was leaning towards a Wildcat at this point.

I've heard good things about Wildcat stocks.

Ask "Gunbuilder", as I'm sure he uses them quite often.

Hey 240 Gord,

I do not have the rifle back from Martini yet, so I have yet to try anything!

I spec'd the rifle with a 1 - 9 twist hoping that it might shoot 120's.

I have lots of rifles to shoot the heavier stuff if need be.

When I get it back I will post some results.
