2011 Moose Hunt
« on: November 30, 2011, 02:21:19 PM »
ended up getting a new hunting set up this year. new truck, new trailer. (ended up storing the wall tent for the year)

and here is the cow moose I took this year. i ambushed her while she was crossing a cutblock. her and her sister were actually getting called in by a ~55+ bull across the cutblock. when we walked up on her to begin the process; the bull and other cow actually charged us thru the bush. i guess they werent into sharing...

Hey Taylor, I recognize that setup.  We were were practically neighbors a couple of weeks back.  Well only about 6.5 miles as the crow files.  Except we were in the poorer parts in our old wall tent.  :(  Good looking hunting rig for sure.  It seems that a lot of hunters are going this route now a days.  Nice cow moose btw.  Were you guys out west again for that one?
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?

Yeah we headed west again. Love the wall tent but I hated taking care of it an settin up camp for half a day. With this unit I can have camp set up including fire wood for a week in just over 1 hr. and it stays warm inside all night with or without the rum. Lol. Harder to do a remote camp set up but give and take. I can see myself using this for a long time.
