Africa pics

Animal #1 Gemsbok

#2 SCI Gold Impala

#3 is a big Warthog

#4 is another Warthog

#5 is a decent Bushbuck

#6 is a very old Kudu bull

#7 is a second Bushbuck that went SCI Gold

#8 and the final animal is a Baboon

Everything was outstanding and surpassed every expectation that I had going in.  On the 3rd day my wife comes to me and says "We are definitely coming back here right?"  I knew I married her for a good reason.
I will be going back to see him in a few more years for sure.
Enjoy the pics.

Looks like you had a great trip! Some very awesome trophies there. Glad to see everything turned out well and as planned!

I hunt sheep to see over the next mountain not to measure the next trophy!

Awesome pics and looked like an awesome adventure.  Congrats on the success.  Someday I hope to go but it will have to wait a couple years.

That's awesome.  Definately something I'd like to do someday.  I have a question, what do you do with the baboon?  Do they mount those things?  Rug?  Just curious?  Never thought about it before, and I don't think I've ever seen one mounted.

The Baboon had way to big of a hole in a very nasty spot to be mounted.  The landowner practically begged me to shoot some for her as they are a huge menace on her farm.  I really didn't want to shoot one but the PH said that he would like to get a full mount done anyway of a male and female pair.
The bullet just did a very big number and no amount of sewing would be able to fix it up.  It basically blew the whole shoulder thru the entire animal and out the other side.

Good Job Daryl I am glad I could help out with the trip for you.  You did very well on the animals you wanted.  Glad the trip went well with no problems.  The trophy quality you got was outstanding as well.  That impala is huge as well as the warthogs and that one bushbuck is a stud!!  Give me a call if you are still planing on dropping by camp like you said you might.
