this is the hardest time of year to watch big game critters.........they're all skinheads! antler and horn growing season is just around the bend. anybody spotted anything yet thats started sprouting bone?

Seen a whitetail on Saturday that had about 2 1/2" of growth, but that's it. None of the other deer we saw had anything.

interesting. where abouts are you boys from. i'm south west of calgary and see lots of both md and wt daily, still nothing. haven't looked at any elk since the snows been gone.

I went up to Snipe Lake on April 8th and saw 5 elk that were spikers.  They should all be monsters this year with early growth like that!

Saw a nice bull moose a couple days ago and nothing happening there yet..
