Wife and I got our local deer draws which we knew we would, we 999'd everything else. No moose tag for son though.

Based on draw history we knew it'd be close.

I got Camp wainwright Muzzy season... Really pumped about this hunt never hunted the base before. Not sure what to expect. Anyone information regarding personal experiance hunting the base would be appreciated.

Was hoping for a moose tag this year but struck out.

I'm still waiting on the goat draw. Other than that I was SOL on everything else . Looks like I'll be hunting general sheep,elk,wt.,mule deer and maybe pick up a left over nt sheep tag.

We're certainly lucky to have the general tag option, not to mention the suppl. tags.

Snapshot, on your mzl. season, what are you using? Flint/percussion/inline? That's definitely something that peaks my interest, I've hunted locally before with patch'n'ball. Most compounds have a greater range, lol.

Well a few more of our hunting group have checked and here is where we all sit now.
1x - wmu 420 - bull moose
2x - wmu 4#6 - bull moose
1x - wmu 1## - bull moose
1x - wmu 1## - bull elk
1x - wmu 50# - bull elk
1x - wmu 410 - trophy sheep

Im going to be using a inline. Im going to get some serious range time in with it the rest of the summer and im thinking im going to be using it all fall when im not bowhunting. Im really excited for this hunt been doing alot of research.

My buddies wife got a Bison tag, hear it's a tough tag to draw on. Anyone else been putting in for Bison?

Dad got his Mule buck in his second choice of zones. First choice was a long shot though so kinda expected. He and I also got mule doe draws in a totally different zone. Not sure why I did that to be honest with you.

Well I got a bull moose for 539 and the son, daughter inlaw and daughter all got bull moose for Wainwright ML season, and a late season bull elk for WMU 300 for the son inlaw.. Looks like the smokeless Savages are going to get a work out at Wainwright this year...

Pretty easy for us this fall, all I put in for out of the 4 of us was one moose draw on my sons draw and he was a Priority 3 in a zone where it is 100% the second year so yah we made out well. Other than that just 999 everything else for all of us.

Step Dad got cow elk in 224 as well. If my family all tags out this year I'll be buying a new deep freeze!!
