Girlfriends Second Season
« on: February 24, 2014, 01:46:25 PM »
Well the 2013 hunting season was my girlfriends second hunting season ever and she managed to top her 2012 season. For those of you who don't know 2012 was my girlfriends first hunting season and she managed to take a real nice white tail buck with the first arrow that she ever shot at any living animal. The buck grossed 141 and netted 123 and was very unique.

This year she managed to take her first ever Mule Deer buck with a great 50 yard shot and he only made it 60 yards before piling up. Next she got her second white tail buck and even though he is smaller then her first one she shot this one "because he was so pretty that I wanted him"

She is extremely happy with both deer so that is all that matters to me. Even more important is we had such a fun year together and she got to experience so many things and she loves getting out hunting.

She has now informed me that next season I am not allowed to shoot an elk because she is going to get one that is much bigger then anything I have and it is going on the wall. Truth be told I wouldn't be one bit surprised if this happened hahaha

One other highlight of our year is my 71 year old grandfather took a great white tail

Looking real good, Kyle.

The thing that I find great about these pics is that you folks are bow hunting in the late season with snow on the ground.
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?
