Kids On The Hunt..

Reading Sheepguides post about his boy starting out hunting this fall got me to thinking about starting out my boys through the years,, it really is the best of the best when you are out with your own children. With out a doubt my best memories over the years are the ones with my boys taking their first big game animals. Its been a few years now since my oldest started out he is 21 this fall. Unfortunately when the older boys were coming up the age was 14 for rifle the youngest was able to take a deer last fall at age 13..

Here are a couple pics of the boys first kills. Please everyone share the pics of your youth..

The oldest with his first kill at age 14..

And hid first moose at age 15..

The middle boy with his first kill at age 14,, he will be 20 this Nov.

And the youngest at 13 years last fall with his first kill..

Great pictures Walleyes, and congrats to your boys. I have two girls, the youngest is 10 and she loves coming hunting with me, she's been along on a few kills and she is looking forward to turning twelve so she can hunt. I'm looking forward to it!

Great pics!!!  It will be a couple of years before I can add some from my kids as they are 10 and 8 now.  The boy (8) wants to whack some gophers this summer so hopefully I can get a pic with that first kill.  LOL
