They don't punish each other because it's wide spread that's why. A theif never wants to punish another theif does he, he finds no fault in what he does.

I spend a lot of time in the bush most falls, deep in the bush where few bother to go. Over the last 10 years I can't count the amount of violations I've witnessed outfitters committing. Most aren't major violations but still they are violations. Violations from small bucks shot by mistake and given away or tagged with someone else's tag so the Hunter can keep on hunting. I hunted an area 3 years ago for 2 falls, there was an outfitter working the area, he had an outfitters tent set up way back in about 10 miles off the closest road. I would get up at 3:00am and be unloading my quad 1.5 hrs before sun up and be driven in and off my quad well before the 1/2 time limit. It's cold and calm that far in those cold Nov days you can hear for miles. I could hear him packing in his clients on his side by side well after legal time, like a couple hours somedays. But he had that tent set up in close to his stands so he could use the excuse, if he ever got caught that he is packing them into camp,, using that little loop hole that's in the regs. But he never used that tent for that, he would sit in there and keep warm all day while his clients were in stand, there was never even a cot in it. Lots of greasy stuff going on with them, I have very little respect for most of them, I do know a few good ones and honest guys but I also know and know of quite a few greasy ones.

Actually, I was told by a c.o. That all that was needed was a pup tent in your quad box. All you have to say is you’re going to camp to set up. Also, should have a lock on your scabbard. So, the outfitter you have described is well within the law. Not that it is right, but rewrite the regs if it’s a problem.

You don't really read do you, you just get something in your head a blab it out.

I stated in my post that the outfitter was using a loop hole in the regulations, that's why he had the tent set up. Hence the reason I used the term greasy.

Now back to the other site with you, I'm sure your pal over there needs some defending.

I'm calm.

I didn't come on here and moderate either, just made a statement as another poster. If you pay attention on here at all we do very little moderation, we let the chips fall where they may.

As far as the other site goes I went over there to get some of the info on Nube and what was going on and that's it, I don't look over there, don't care what's going on there.

A little aggressive with this statement???? All I did was state my experience. Didn’t support my buddy,  whomever that would be. Nice response, the type that I have read when I was on the other site.

I may have been harsh I'll admit it but let's face it guido you have a reputation on these sites as being a bit of an antagonist. You have to earn respect if you want to receive it. The way I read it you were sticking up for the outfitter, I wasn't saying he was breaking the law in this instance but just being a grease ball.

As I have always been the voice of reason on these forums
 Here is two cents ....
IMO ....the govt only interested in the revenue stream , couldn't
give a shit about the resource ....certainly in Alberta .
The time is way past due to eliminate this outfitter horse shit
from the scene. Selling my resource to those piss ass Americans
     Is just abominable.
And while your at it , make those indigenouses make up their
Minds , quit taking my tax dollars or follow the rule of law

So we wait to see what the lawyers come up with I guess. Drop a pile of them and try to get the big ones to stick. What’s you guess, a few years off then back at it?

If I had to guess 5 - 8 grand fine and 2 years off from guiding and hunting. Won’t pull his trapline license either. Wonder what’s going on there, unethical is generally unethical know what I mean.

Yea it’s kinda like all his big deer pics that are taken over mineral blocks. Get an animal used to coming to area and it becomes pretty easy to shoot big deer consistently. Then there’s him bragging about sheep hunting and taking nothing more then a rifle, knife and a couple of granola bars. Things that make you go hum!! Once a slim ball always a slim ball.
