I thought the Cadomine tags were issued by name? I am sure thats what Archie Nesbitt said on his show last week when they aired his Cadomine hunt. Maybe that was just of you won the raffle.

Pretty sure it is the man in question who pulled the tag, has been silent since word broke. If he didn't pull the tag all he would have had to do is say he never pulled it and the whole thing surrounding him would have dropped. Personally think it should be a once in a lifetime draw anyway.

Can't say I'm a big fan of him either so maybe im biased. I had asked him a couple questions a few years back about bullet grain and cartirge selection for the riffle I was shooting. He sent me a real smart ass somewhat insulting reply. On another occasion I asked him about a mountain moose hunt his wife did that was featured on one of their videos, answer another smart ass reply. (Was just asking him about how to hunt moose in the mountains since i was not familiar with that style of moose hunting, wasn't looking for location) Conclusion he's a meat stick.

If your talking about Mellon, he would never say he did or didn't get the tag. If he didn't get the tag, he is sitting back laughing at all of this. If he did get the tag, he is not about to admit that he got "lucky" 3 times. JMHO

Maybe I can be more persuasive and get a name.

Good lord it doesn't matter. It's really to bad this douche bag is at the center of all this. The real issue is SRD should take a look at how such a long shot has come through. The integrity of the system is at play here. All it would take would be to look at all the past recipients to see if there is a trend that explains why this person has gotten these three tags. The simple extrordinary probability of this should be reason enough to look into it.

Interesting thread this...

Very true, gossip sucks but theres a couple of pretty hot button issues here.

First & foremost the integrity of our draw system AND the people that run it. Thats a big issue. We are talking about a lot of money across the province and more importantly the managment and distribution of a limited amount of tags. Thats a big deal!

Plus, it looks like the guy has pissed off a lot of people, myself included. If nothing else it appears that there are many out there that would be pleased to see him go down in flames lol. But until there are any facts released its all just speculation. Its entirely possible he really is the luckiest (adjective withheld) alive. Is it likely? No, not even a little bit, but possible.

My opinion was that it was a publicity stunt, but assuming that the fella above that posted confirmation from SRD is not another fake account created by Melon himself I guess I was wrong.

Agree with Mav, don't matter who it is really, the real issue is the integrity of the draw system.

Yah but it makes it all that much juicier if it is the person in question..

He has burned a lot of people over the years,, a little carma would be sweet here.
